Memories of summer...

Here is a splice of typical Geneva life from this summer. This is what we were up to over a two week period in August (when we were in town):

Going to a movie at the outdoor Orange theater - we saw 1408... not so good, but the setting was amazing!
Rollerblading around the lake
Glocal kick off party - our wonderful social networking site GoL changed it's name this summer to Glocals (Global + Local) with much heated debate. The kick off party was lakeside under the stars... very cool.
Transformers (en Français) with our friend, M (there was confusion between v.o. and v.f.) - the French version was still pretty good!
Tuesday Night Drinks - netball was rained out.
More rollerblading - on Wednesdays a group from GoL blades together around town.
Matt's going away party - Geneva is transient and it seems that there is always a going away party to attend... sad, but nice that we have made so many friends that we can now visit all over the world! :)
To the zoo with Mrs. Kofi & Els - exploring new places with good friends.

On hiatus in the summer is Toastmasters (we take August off since everyone is on holiday) and my book club -- everyone wants to be outside enjoying the great weather (or the so-so weather, but it is still nicer than winter!)
